South Fambridge Solar Park

BSR Energy is looking to develop South Fambridge Solar Park. This project, will generate 49.99MWp of solar photovoltaic energy to the electricity network and 20MW Battery energy storage system.

This solar park will produce enough clean renewable electricity to power 12,501 homes per year*, a saving of 11,072 tonnes CO2e!

The project is situated off Fambridge Road, due north of Ashingdon. The approximately 155 acres (63Ha) site will be located on several fields which are currently used for arable farming. In addition to having solar panels on the site, the project includes biodiversity and landscape enhancement measures, such as the gapping up of existing hedgerows and provision of improved grassland, to ensure there is minimal visual and environmental impact. ​

The solar park will feature the latest technology from the industry, with a primary focus to maximise the yield over the given area.
