Preston Farm Solar Park
BSR Energy is looking to develop Preston Farm Solar Park. This project, if permitted, will generate 28MWp of solar photovoltaic energy to the electricity network.
This solar park will produce enough clean renewable electricity to power 7.002 homes per year*, a saving of 6,202 tonnes CO2e!
The project is situated off the B3046 and is approximately 1.3 miles west of the village of Preston Candover. The approximately 116 acre (47Ha) site will be located in three fields which are currently used for arable farming. In addition to having solar panels on the site, the proposal also includes biodiversity and landscape enhancement measures.
The solar park will feature the latest technology from the industry, with a primary focus to maximise the yield over the given area.
